Bamboo lids are beautiful — and like all natural wood, they need a little TLC to stay that way. The MBC Bamboo Lid Care Kit combines 100% pure food-grade mineral oil and white beeswax to condition, protect, and extend the life of your bamboo drinking or storage lid.

What's Included

  • 2 oz 100% Pure Food Grade Mineral Oil
  • 2 oz 100% Pure White Beeswax

How to Use

  1. Pour mineral oil into a bowl and fully submerge your bamboo lid. Remove and set on a rack to dry overnight — do not wipe off excess oil.
  2. After 12+ hours, melt beeswax in a microwave-safe container (or use a candle warmer, double boiler, or crockpot).
  3. Fully submerge the lid in melted wax for ~10 seconds. Remove and let dry for ~1 hour.
  4. Wipe off excess wax with an old rag.

Both the mineral oil and beeswax are reusable. For best results, repeat every 1–2 weeks or whenever your lid starts to look dry.
